The recommended maximum size for leaded glass panels is 12 sq ft. These lay lights are 72 sq feet in one panel! The original zinc came was no longer available so we make a new lead came to match. There was an extensive redesign of the support system. The scope for this project was restoration of the 27 laylights at the DAR library. Work included documentation, broken glass repair, complete releading, fabrication of metal ornament, and redesign of the structural system.
